Service Description

12 Week course; 3 hours per week, Tuesday evenings Students explore colour application and mixing using a variety of different media which may include pencils, acrylics, watercolour, mixed media etc. Students study the work of other artists to help deepen their understanding of art by working on different topics over a 12 week period. There will be sketching from life as well as extension projects for those more confident in some areas. The topics will include, amongst others: Water & glass Composition of objects Landscape composition Figures Materials and methods offered include drawing, painting and mixed media. The classes are kept to a maximum of 8, providing a relaxed learning environment. All materials, use of tools and equipment, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
