At the Art and Design Studio, we run a range of relaxed and informal art and craft classes to suit adults of all levels of ability. Class size is a maximum of 8.
(Please note that we don't teach children under the age of 12).
These range from a 3 hour tailored art or craft workshop up to a 12 week course, all at our studio in Great Waltham, CM3 1DF.
We also offer fully catered art holidays in the beautiful Dordogne area of France.

A 6 day fully catered watercolour painting holiday in the Dordogne, France. All food, drinks and materials are provided.
NEW! We can offer 1:1 private tutoring for your child aged 11+ in your home, covering all aspects of drawing and painting in a range of media.
We have a range of 12 week courses, both daytime and evening to develop varying art skills via 3 different topics per term, using a range of media. Topics include Urban, Animals, Tree, Sea, Flowers, Bugs & Bees, as well as many more!
A 12 week course with classes aimed at those who would like to gain confidence to create their own artwork and those who want to gain new skills. These include composition, basic portraiture and drawing and painting in perspective.

The Art and Design Studio provides a fantastic learning experience for all levels of skills. What I like most about these Arts classes is the exposure I’ve had to a variety of media and Artists. Cathy, our Art teacher gives critical feedback and is at the same time encouraging and pushes us to challenge ourselves. Such a fab holiday. Lovely location, great accommodation with fabulous food and local wine, beautiful gardens and pool with days out sketching with a bunch of lovely people. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute and will definitely be going again.
